Details

The JVC BR-DV3000U VTR is a simple, no-frills player/recorder with a compact design that can be installed vertically or horizontally on the desktop. It will record and playback NTSC and PAL signals. Additionally, the deck with its RS-422 port can act as a player/feeder in a linear edit environment. You will find that the BR-DV3000U is an economical and intelligent solution to many linear and nonlinear issues confronting busy video pros today.

NTSC and PAL Compatibility

Switch between NTSC and PAL as required. This makes it easy to work with internationally sourced material and transfer it to a nonlinear edit system for editing. You can also record to standard or mini DV tape in either NTSC or PAL systems.

RS-422 Interface

Though the BR-DV3000U cannot be used as a recorder in a linear environment, the deck is equipped with the RS-422 connector. DV source material can be transferred to a variety of formats for editing. Linear editors will use the machine as a player/feeder in such circumstances.

DVCAM Playback

DVCAM recordings can be played back directly on the BR-DV3000U. This makes it easy to use DVCAM recordings as source material for editing.

Continuous Recording Feature

When a camcorder is connected to the BR-DV3000U via the DV connector, the deck will start recording 5 minutes before the camera's tape runs out. This enable continuous recording shooting for extended periods with no breaks in the recording.

Remote Control Options

The BR-DV3000U comes with a wireless remote control unit with comprehensive menus setting features. For completely reliable basic operations the deck accepts a wired remote controller, the RM-G30U, that provides all play, record, forward and reverse controls.
